STUDENT PROJECT

For this project I was tasked with creating the brand identity for a USL League One soccer team in Biloxi, Mississippi. Biloxi is located on the Gulf of Mexico and is known for its coastal scenery, and history as a hub for schooner races and shrimping. 

My main goal was to convey the coastal feel in an aquatic inspired color palette using a combination of blues. I didn’t feel the need to force a mascot onto the brand, as most of my ideas felt a little too obvious and sometimes kitschy. I believed that I could still build a strong brand Identity without a mascot.
